ASC announces a new Web Based
Containerized Freight Upgrade
ASC announced today that a new web
based module is available to compliment their Containerized
Freight Module. This module will give you and your overseas
vendors better real time access for container
inventory and tracking data. In addition, it works with ASCTrac's
enterprise printing module to print labels at the vendor's
facility. All of this is done overseas at the point of
activity for shipment verification and to allow
"available-to-promise" supply chain functions. In addition,
ASC announced that the eBusiness web module will also
support the identification of containers and "hot" inventory
contained in them at the port right from the truck's cab. |

announces Voice Picking and Advanced Order Management
ASC announced today that
ASCTrac WMS will have another module for Advanced Order
Management that will include our newest Voice Picking and
Pick-to-Light functions. Advanced Order Management will also
do consolidation based upon your business logic, and will
enhance the basic Order Planning module (included) with
Enterprise Order Planning functions. The basic Wave, Batch
and Pick Group planning will also include user defined
business rules for easier automation. |

New ASCTrac™ WMS RFID Print-and-Apply Support Module
This new module from ASC will allow
an enterprise deployment with full manufacturing to be set up as a
"no failure" print and apply operation. Unlike web based
software that can fail with outside connection failure, this module
will keep running regardless for automating multiple assembly lines.
Designed to be industrial strength, it can drive automated
palletizers through a PLC interface and it also supports RFID tags
in the process (which can be engaged upon demand.) Contact us for
