The educational series covered
difficulties that food and beverage companies encounter on a
daily basis and focused on how to solve their unique issues as
well as common problems within the industry.
During his keynote presentation,
Olin Thompson of Process ERP Partners indicated that the food
and beverage distribution industry is among the most
competitive. “Margins are slim and the keys to success lies in

The educational seminar focused
on financial solutions, distribution solutions (both warehouse
and route) as well as food sales promotion solutions. The main
goal of the series is to demonstrate how beneficial these
solutions are to the food and beverage distribution industry by
outlining a customer site where the solutions are currently in
operation.
Pete Gilstrap, President of ASC,
outlined the requirements for food and pharmaceutical grade
manufacturing and distribution solutions. His topics included
highlights of warehouse distribution solutions and with a
concentration on FDA edicts, homeland security for “Track and
Trace” rules, lot and component tracking, quality control and
many other features for requirements of a food grade solution.
